Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will testify before the House Ways and Means Committee at around 10:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Greer testified Tuesday in front of the Senate Finance Committee, during which he justified President Donald Trump’s sweeping tariffs.
“As these countries approach us, the idea is that we’ve had years and years of nonreciprocal access, and it’s contributed to these trade deficits,” Greer said, adding that he wants them to know “we want to negotiate with you.”
